How to play
Choose a minimum and maximum, then start a game. Both ends of the range are included. Enter a whole number and we’ll tell you to go higher or lower. Keep guessing until you find the secret number.
You have unlimited guesses. Starting a new game resets your guesses and picks a fresh number. Ranges can include negative numbers, from −1,000,000,000 to 1,000,000,000. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere by this game.
How to play the number guessing game
Enter a minimum in From and a maximum in To, then select Start game. Both ends of your range are included. Type a whole number into Your guess and select Check guess, or press Enter on your keyboard.
If your guess is too low, try a higher number. If it is too high, try a lower one. The possible range updates after each clue, and your previous guesses appear below the game. You have unlimited guesses, so take your time.
Choose your challenge
Start with 1 to 10 for a quick round, or try 1 to 100 for a bigger challenge. You can also include negative numbers. Each endpoint must be a whole number between −1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000, and From must be smaller than To.
Try guessing near the middle of the remaining range, then use each clue to narrow it further. The guess counter tracks valid attempts. After you win, select Play again for a fresh number. New game starts a fresh round using the range shown above and clears your current guesses.
Does the game save my progress?
The game keeps your current round only while the page is open. Reloading resets it. The game itself does not save your guesses, send them to a server, or add a leaderboard.
