The 7.6-inch screen matters because you can actually use the space
Plenty of phones have become larger without becoming much better at displaying information. The iPhone Duo takes a different route because iOS 27 can treat the opened phone as two usable areas rather than one oversized version of a normal iPhone app.

Folding the phone creates advantages that have nothing to do with multitasking

Apple does not win the foldable comparison simply by arriving with an Apple logo. Samsung already has eight generations of experience and is offering a much lighter device for less money.
